This watch runs about 3 minutes fast when put int the case, even loosely. The beat error is excellent, in and out of the case, and there's no "noise", nice crisp lines on the timing machine.
These are the things you have to deal with with antique watches. Nothing is really precise, and usually never was, and everything is worn. The problem could be any of a lot of things.
