Illinois Watch Company, Hoyt Model

This is an Illinois Watch Company 18 size pocketwatch, for a change. It's an 11 jewels, Hoyt model, key-wind and key-set.

This one was made about 1874 and features a heavy coin silver hunter case.

I received my grandfather's watch which you restored for me yesterday. It is gratifying to see this watch in action after many years. It has probably not been working since 1912.
