Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 211

This is Elgin's grade 211, 16 size, 7 jewels, made about 1901.

The decorative finish on this particular watch, called damascene, is not a common pattern on Elgins.

The case is white gold filled. White gold was quite popular at the time.
