Elgintime Vintage Horological: Watch Serial Numbers on Various Parts

In the past I have mentioned that early American watches have their serial numbers indicated on a number of parts.

Here on this Waltham we see numbers on the dial side of the main plate, a winding arbor clamp, and on the underside of the balance cock.
