Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 50, Animation

Elgin's grade 50 is a relatively rare convertible model, meaning it is easily assembled in either a hunter or an open face configuration.

This is a 16 size, 15 jewel, movement, this one made about 1893.

Note to unusual center and top setting wheel configuration.
