Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 286

Elgin's grade 286 is a 6 size, 7 jewel, movement.

This one was made about 1904. It was missing the front bezel, as this first photo shows, It was sent to a specialty shop to take care of that and returned to its owner from there.
