Elgintime Vintage Horological: Some Serial Numbers on an Older Waltham

Older pocketwatches have their numbers stamped on various key parts. This #Waltham , movement serial number 282708, marked on the barrel bridge, has numbers that don't align - but partly match each other - on its parts.
87 under the balance cock, and 872 on both the dial-side of the bottom place, and the underside of the top plate.
