Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 594

The grade 594 is a later model. It's plate layout and basic design is very much like older Elgin products, but the finish work, hands and font on the dial have a very different, modern, look.

It is a 16 size, 9 jewels, movement.

This example was made about 1943.
