Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 347

The grade 347 is a 12 size, 17 jewel, movement often found as a "G. M/ Wheeler" named model.

The case is hinged in the front and back, and includes an inner dust cover, as hinged. The inner cover is engraved.

Note the fancy damaskeen on the exposed wheels.

This example of the 347 was made about 1909.
