Elgintime Vintage Horological: Elgin Grade 345

This is a grade 345, 12 size, 17 jewel, Elgin pocketwatch. This one was made about 1927.

Cases of this style are referred to as a "cushion" cases because of the roundish sides. It's in white gold which was quite popular in the '20s.

Collectors seem to really go for these cushion cases.
