The company produced many of the self-winding wristwatch movements made in the United States beginning with the 607 and 618 calibers.
Normally, I delete comments that are really just links to a retail site (ads in other words), but this one gives the opportunity for some information.
607 and 618 are Swiss made imported grades. These movements never saw the inside of the watch factory. The Elgin 760 and 761 grades are the only automatic movements ever designed and built in the United States.
