The hairspring stud is at a steep angle, but this isn't because the hairspring is twisted. The stud has come loose the brass pin holding has slipped partly out. The hairspring is fine.
I'll have to put in a new pin and tighten up the stid. Unfortunately I will have to take an educated guess at the correct location of a the stud and may have to move it once or twice. The beat and rate will need a lot of adjusting.
I left the pin's length exposed for now, until I know the stud is in the right place. Then I'll cut it off neatly at both ends.
