Elgin Grade 314

Elgin's grade 314 is not especially rare, certainly, but it's always nice to see a particularly good example, like this one.

The grade 314 is a 12 size, 15 jewel, movement, this one made about 1917. 

This watch features a crisp, gold hunting case and also an unusual dial with roman numerals arranged in a radial pattern.
