Elgin Grade 237

The grade 237 is a relatively scarce Elgin pocketwatch movement.  It's a 12 size, 21 jewels model.  Note the unusual finishing on the plates, the micro regulator, and the raised, gold, jewel bezels.  This model also features a motor barrel, not common on Elgin 12 size grades.

This fine example was made about 1900.
